2023 Fall Allotment Process

Earl & Carrie have chosen the Winemaker’s Select Allocation (see tab) but, as always, if you want to customize your Fall Allotment wines – you are more than welcome to make any changes.

Check your email for all of our new Fall Release Events or click here.

You can do this one of two ways:

By participating in our customization process
Stopping by the Tasting Room starting Monday, September 25th to choose your wines.

Option 1 | Customization Process:
You may choose the wines for your Fall Allotment at any time – and they will be available for pickup from the tasting room or shipped to you starting Monday, September 25th.  Customization allows you to choose your wines on a first-come, first-serve basis. Since some of our wines are available in very limited amounts that are not part of the Winemaker’s Select Allocation, customization provides the best opportunity for you to reserve these limited wines before we run out. If you have your heart set on choosing all red or all white wines, customization is your best option to make this happen. Your credit card on file will be charged once the order has been filled and you may pick up your allotment starting Monday, September 25th. Ready to start the customization process? Proceed to “Customize Allotment” below.

Option 2 | Come on by the Tasting Room:
You are also more than welcome to come on by the tasting room to let us know in person what you would like starting Monday, September 25th. We can put together your allotment immediately and have you on your way in no time.

We are still offering curbside pickup. Just call us when you arrive at the winery and we will bring your wine directly to your vehicle.  Shipping is still included in the cost of your Wine Club Allotment for Wine Club Members who live outside the Treasure Valley area.

For all of our Wine Club Members living outside the Treasure Valley area, you will need to customize your wines or you will receive the Winemaker’s Select Allocation. If you customize your Fall Allotment wines, they will be shipped starting Monday, September 25th (dependent on weather).  If you do not customize your wines, the Winemaker’s Select Allocation will be shipped starting the week of Monday, October 23rd. If you need us to hold on to your wine and ship at a later date, please just let us know! And if for any reason your shipping address needs to be updated, just shoot us an email or give us a call.

IF YOU NEED TO UPDATE YOUR DELIVERY ADDRESS, PLEASE CONTACT THE TASTING ROOM AT 208-557-9463.

On Monday, October 16th, if you have not already customized or picked-up your Fall Allotment, your credit card on file will be charged for the 2023 Fall Winemaker’s Select Allocation. But never fret – you can always modify the Winemaker’s Select Allocation to your choosing whenever you come in to pick up your wines.

 2023 FALL RELEASE WHITES

2022 Chenin Blanc  | $25
Snake River Valley, ID | 500 Cases  |13.58% ALC

The wine has a pale straw color with an intense nose of melon, pear and green apple. The body has a hint of honey and lemons surrounded by a zippy finish that makes this a great patio wine.

2022 Grüner Veltliner | $26
Snake River Valley, ID| 320 Cases  |13.2% ALC

Grüner is an Austrian varietal that has deep golden body. The nose will be full of fresh, bright crisp apples. There is a little punch of acidity in the body that has a really interesting pear finish allowing this wine to be a bit of a roller coaster in the mouth.

2022 Chardonnay Carrie’s Chablis Style| $27
Snake River Valley, ID| 185 Cases  |13.9% ALC

The bright crisp version of Chardonnay that hasn’t seen any oak and won’t have those buttery flavors people think of when they think Chardonnay.  Instead it is a pale gold color with hints of white peaches wrapped in Meyer lemons leading into a full mouth of all of the citrus you expect from a clean chardonnay with grapefruit and apples.  The brightness doesn’t end there as the extra-long finish will help you beat the entire heat of the summer.

2023 FALL RELEASE REDS

2021 Sangiovese | $38
Lanae Ridge Vineyard, Snake River Valley, ID  |  150 Cases  |14.0% ALC

A beautiful ruby color for this Sangio leads into balsamic wrapped in brown sugar with just a hint of clove and baking spice. The body has some texture and reminds you of sitting on a leather couch while smelling tobacco leaves from a cigar. The finish is subtle but has hints of cherries.

2021 Turas  | $36
Snake River Valley, ID  | 370 Cases  |13.2% ALC
Red Blend Syrah 46%, Malbec 13%, Mourvèdre12%, Merlot 12%, Sangiovese 8%, Cab Sauv 8%

Deep dark rich velvet in color this is our very traditional Syrah based blend. The nose really reflects the dirty Syrah from Idaho with earth, wet gravel and hints of graphite. The body has some cherry and lots of different spices mixed with smoke. Which helps add to a really long finish and it almost feel hot on your tongue.

2021 Malbec  | $38
Snake River Valley, ID  | 200 Cases  |14.0% ALC

This Malbec comes off a light purple in color and has a really interesting nose of subtle fruit tones that make you think of cherry or blueberries. Then once you drink it you get a giant dose of fruit with mostly cherry. This allows for this medium bodied wine to sneak up on you and really surprise you with the big body but soft mouthfeel.

2021 Cabernet Sauvignon | $40
Boushey Vineyards, Yakima Valley, WA | 250 Cases |14.2% ALC

Boushey cab is always our more delicate cab. This ruby colored wines has some real campfire cobbler notes the nose that doesn’t disappoint as you take your first sip. You get hints of huckleberry and brown sugar and you let the finish linger and remember the good old days of camping with a great glass of wine.

2021 Cabernet Franc | $41
Boushey Vineyards, Yakima Valley, WA | 600 Cases |14.6% ALC

This is a great example of Cab Franc. Lighter in color, likely why it is one of the fathers of Merlot, this wine has big bright red fruits like raspberry and currants on the nose. The body brings out the vanilla and anise which are going to be wrapped around those giant tannins that will take 4-5 years to tame. Definitely use a decanter if you have the time.

 2021 Petit Verdot | $43
Shaw Stanton Vineyard, Red Mountain, WA | 255 Cases |13.9% ALC

Nothing Petit about this Petit Verdot. Deep, dark purple in color this big wine has lots of pepper and black fruits on the nose. The tannins are meant to be aged but will grab you now and pull you into flavors of vanilla, baking spice and exotic peppers. The finish is an amazing culmination of all of these flavors just dancing in your mouth until the night ends.

OTHER AVAILABLE WHITES

2022 Anam | $25
Snake River Valley, ID | 550 Cases |12.8% ALC
White Blend 23% Viognier-14% Grenche Blanc-9% Picpoul Blanc-14% Sauvignon Blanc-23% Chenin Blanc-18% Verdejo

If examined closely, this blend hides a subtle hue of green within the pale yellow color.  You are hit with a nose full of honeysuckle that dissipates into grapefruit tones.  This wine balances a hint of salinity with flavors of pear and white raspberries resulting in an approachable summer white to be enjoyed on our patio – or yours!

2022 Chardonnay Carrie’s Select | $27
Snake River Valley, ID | 375 Cases | 13.0% ALC

Intensely golden in color, this big oak and cream chardonnay is designed for those that want a bold white wine. With a nose of lemon brioche, you can begin to get hints of the oak. The specialized D&J barrels we use specifically for this wine give a silky texture with hints of butter and cream that fall in and around the tropical notes of the wine. The finish hints of guava as it lingers on your palate.

2022 Grenache Blanc | $25
Boushey Vineyard, Yakima Valley, WA | 225 Cases | 12.6% ALC

This wine is the lightest of straw in color. This wine has a very light peach nose which crescendos into a solid and lengthy finish.

2022 Marsanne | $25
Boushey Vineyard, Yakima Valley, WA | 175 Cases | 12.1% ALC

Goldenrod colors flow through this wine that has a nose of honeycomb. The body has hints of mandarin orange but is full bodied with that last pop of citrus on the finish.

2022 Picpoul Blanc | $26 (TETON CLUB ONLY)
Snake River Valley, ID | 125 Cases | 11.75% ALC

Although pale straw in color this is no wimpy white wine.  It has a nose full of grapefruit wrapped in toasted caramels.   That bleeds into a big citrus kick that lingers and lingers.   This wine is seeking some cheese for an epic patio pairing.

2022 Rosé | $25
Emerald Slope Vineyards, Snake River Valley, ID | 375 Cases | 13.70% ALC
50% Grenache, 50% Cinsaut

A delicate hue of salmon hints at the traditional nature of this rosé. A nose full of roses and strawberry with some vanilla spice goes right into the minerality of the body and the more delicate finish.

2022 Sauvignon Blanc | $25
Skyline Vineyard, Snake River Valley, ID | 275 Cases | 11.0% ALC

This lightly tinted wine has a hint of a green hue. The color is an indicator of the nose full of pear, apricot and cantaloupe. The fruit theme continues as the bright body showcases flavors of apples and pears. A refreshing finish of acid wrapped in salinity is a result of the soils that these wines are grown in.

2022 Verdejo | $23
Snake River Valley, ID | 350 Cases | 13.2% ALC

A rare wine, this Verdejo is light straw with hints of green in color. The nose is full of grapefruit with hints of ripe honeydew and lemon. There is a mild hint of fennel in the mouth leading into a zippy finish making this an excellent food wine for the summer.

2022 Viognier | $23
Block 39-Snake River Valley, ID | 475 Cases | 13.0% ALC

This Viognier is golden in the glass with hints of honeysuckle under a very aromatic nose of candied lemons and peaches.  The body is not too intense but has enough acid that the finish lingers.  This wine will be a great food wine.

2021 Rosé of Syrah-ID 4 Pack 187ml bottles | $25
Skyline Vineyard, Snake River Valley, ID | 1400 4 Packs-187ml bottles | 12.5% ALC

This Rosé looks like cranberry punch in a glass – but don’t be fooled! Because it is a Rosé of Syrah and done in Carrie’s Style, it has all of the elements of a Syrah on the nose with hints of pepper and earthiness. But then you are hit with the switcheroo and get this bright, vibrant strawberry blended with peppercorns in the mouth. This will be great for a glass of Rosé on the go and will pair especially well with a variety of cheeses and meats. Try our charcuterie with a glass on the patio!.
