Wine Ambassador

Emily is from Scappoose, Oregon, about 30 minutes North of Portland. From there she decided to move to Boise to pursue a degree in Kinesiology to follow her love for exercise and study of human movement. Emily originally wanted to pursue a career in physical therapy, but instead took her experience from healthcare and love for caring for people and channeled that into hospitality. Her mom always had lots of different wines in the house and loved to educate Emily on the different elements of wine and how it was made, which struck an interest in Emily to (almost) pursue a degree in Wine Studies before later deciding on Kinesiology. When she’s not at Telaya, you might find her walking on the Greenbelt, learning to play electric guitar, or exploring Boise with her partner.
