Visit Boise
The ROSE Awards is an opportunity for us to celebrate the people in our hospitality industry who go above and beyond to create memorable experiences for our visitors and guests. The Rose Awards honor exceptional employees in the tourism and hospitality industry who enhance the visitor experience here in the Boise area. @visitboise created this event as an opportunity for us to celebrate the people in our hospitality industry who go above and beyond. Our owners, Earl and Carrie Sullivan, have been awarded this year’s Spirit of Hospitality Award.
From the beginning, Earl & Carrie had a vision of a business that not only created exceptional wines, but that also cultivated a welcoming environment where guests feel like family. The Sullivans built Telaya to be a place that prioritizes values such as family, community, and integrity—values that are deeply embedded in every aspect of the winery. Their commitment to hospitality goes beyond the typical guest experience and extends to the way they interact with their employees, making their team an integral part of the family.
At Telaya, we use the term “Hospitalitarian” to describe the type of person who—with no expectation of personal gain—is compelled to provide care and service to strangers, simply because it brings them joy. Earl and Carrie, not only ARE Hospitalitarians themselves, but they have also created company full of them, spreading the Spirit of Hospitality throughout the community with each guest they serve.
Thank you to all of our guests and members throughout the years who have made this dream possible. And a huge thank you goes to @visitboise for all that you do to recognize hospitality and service excellence in the Treasure Valley!
