Telaya Ed: The Physiology and Psychology of Taste

Do you ever wonder why you prefer one wine over another? Want to be able to describe that wine you’re tasting in the glass? Then this Geeky Wine Class is for you!

In this class we will use a systematic and purposeful approach to taste, exploring how our sensory experiences elicit both an emotional and physiological response impacting our perception of taste, how it makes us “feel”, and how we sense sweetness, acidity, tannin, alcohol, and body on our palate.

You will taste through 3 Telaya wines as we put your senses to the test and explore the science behind what’s happening in your glass. Come ready to sip, learn, and get a little more geeky about wine!
